Ruaha’s limitless wilderness awaits you on this grand safari. More than 10,000 elephant, vast concentrations of buffalo, gazelle and over 400 species of bird await you. The Great Ruaha River is the main feature of the park. From its banks, the game viewing is truly spectacular!
Depart very early from Dar es salaam at 0730am to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 4.5 hours’ drive from Dar es Salaam. Hot lunch at Morogoro Town. Arrival at the park for afternoon game drives in Mikumi National Park. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth – largest National Park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam.
Depart from Dar es Salaam at 0700am. Drive directly to Mikumi by 4x4 safari Jeep. You will arrive l in the park after 4 hours depending on the traffic on the highway, lunch at Morogoro Town then drive into Mikumi National Park. You will go on afternoon game drives until late in the evening.
The Mikumi floodplain with its open grassland dominates the park together with the mountain ranges that borders the park in two sides. Park provides excellent opportunity to view diverse number of animals and birds in a short period of time without too much of driving around. The wildlife viewing experience in this park can be experienced right upon entering the park where you can encounter Baboons, Zebras and Impalas etc.
Sadaani National Park is the only park where you can encounter some of the larger species of wildlife while wandering along a sandy beach. Saadani is the only park in which the beach meets the bush! Sadaani National Park hosts a large population of hippo, crocodile, flamingo, and many other large species of bird.

Depart Zanzibar Island / Dar es salaam at 0800am Landing at 1100am in Msembe Airstrip depending on the Camp you shall be accommodated. You will start game moment the plane touches down you might see pair of giraffe parading across the runway more so elephant mothers protect their young one under the shade of a baobab tree.
