Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park:

Depart very early from Dar es salaam at 0730am to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 4.5 hours’ drive from Dar es Salaam. Hot lunch at Morogoro Town. Arrival at the park for afternoon game drives in Mikumi National Park. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth – largest National Park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Within its 3230 sq. km its set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the south-east. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, Zebras, Leopards, Crocodiles and Hippos just to mention a few. Game drive in the park till late in the evening then drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Matembezi Safari Lodge

Day 2: Mikumi National Park-Full Day Game Drive:

After breakfast full day game drive in the park, see the beauty of Mikumi national Park. The wildlife viewing experience in this park can be experienced right upon entering the park where you can encounter Baboons, Zebras and Impalas just to mention a few, you will have the opportunity to view the unique Mikumi Giraffes that naturalists say seem to be a cross breed between reticulated and Maasai Graffes. Lions can be easily sported in this park. Game drive around the park trail leads you to the hippo pool, which is the best visited during the late afternoons as the distant setting sun and the bobbing hippos heads create perfect pictures there after sporting the wallowing Buffalos at the Mkata flood plains and Elephants congregating near the water hole, drive back to your camp dinner and overnight at Matembezi Safari Lodge

Day 3: Mikumi National Park to Selous Game Reserve:

After an early breakfast, have a sunrise game drive in Mikumi National Park, then with picnic lunch depart to Selous Game Reserve the trip will take at least 5hrs  you will pass though farms along Uluguru Mountains and you pass through Matambwe gate and proceed with afternoon game drive in Selous GR you will be able to see elephants, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Wild Dogs,  Hippos, crocodiles and many more. Game drive till evening then drive to the lodge relax thereafter dinner and overnight at Selous Jimbiza Camp.

Day 4: Selous Game Reserve-Half Day Game Drive & Boat Safari:
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch for half day game drive in to the Selous Game Reserve: large numbers of elephants, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Wild Dogs,  Hippos, crocodiles and many more live in this immense sanctuary, which measures 50,000 sq. km, practically undisturbed by human impact. The park has a variety of vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grasslands. Game drive till afternoon then back to the lodge relax till 0400pm proceed with Boat game drive in the great Rufiji River till sunset, you have  a chance to  enjoy the beautiful scenery with a lot of wild animal and many spices of birds about 3 hours thereafter dinner and overnight at Selous Jimbiza Camp.

Day 5: Selous Game Reserve-Walking Safari-Dar Es Salaam:
After breakfast walking safari with armed ranger you will be able to see the nature very close and enjoy nice view of the river and lakes, there after depart with lunch box to Dar es Salaam you will be passing through country side and have nice scenery and beautiful valleys and mountains. The trip will take you about 5 hours. arrival at late afternoon.

• Main destination: Selous Game Reserve to Dar es Salaam
• Accommodation: No Accommodation. End of the tour.
• Meals & drinks: Breakfast & Picnic Lunch.Drinking water during game drives. Other Drinks not included.
